Robert Sharl, Co-Director of Cine Excess Festival introduces a selection of short films and extracts which take novel approaches to the "found" genre, including work from UK appropriation-film-makers Sellotape Cinema and the premiere of imaginary-film soundtracks from audio-visual electronica act Agents of Evolution.

We'll also launch a new Cine Excess strand on Found Footage Film, and preview "Recoder" a forthcoming work from Sellotape Cinema's Steven Chamberlain and Stephen Snell which weaves a precog-dream-narrative connecting "oddly forgotten" 1984 film Decoder and the ideas of William Burroughs to the Industrial sounds of Psychic TV and the back streets of Bangkok.
